Summary

The Third Man is a 1949 British film noir directed by Carol Reed and written by Graham Greene. It stars Joseph Cotten as Holly Martins, an American writer who arrives in post-WWII Vienna to visit his friend Harry Lime, only to find out that he has recently died in a suspicious accident. Holly then begins to investigate the circumstances of Harry's death, and soon finds himself in the middle of a dangerous criminal underworld.
